Contribute and Donate

Your support of the library allows us to continue providing services and resources to the residents of Lindale and beyond. Each week, hundreds of individuals walk through the library’s doors – everyone from young children, high school students, business owners, the unemployed, families, retirees, immigrants and more. Our programs range across a wide range of services, including tax assistance, second language (ESL) classes, kids storytime, computer/internet access, and of course – our books.  We support literacy and education, gather and provide access to information, support the democratic process, enhance quality of life and build community here in our East Texas Home.

There are many convenient ways to give to the Lillie Russell Memorial Library including online donations, donations via mail, by joining Friends of the Lillie Russell Memorial Library, dropping your spare change at the library front desk, and by legacy gifts. All of your direct donations are tax deductible.  For more about these ways to give, click on Donate Money.  Another important way to donate to the library is by with your time.  Click on Donate Time below.  Volunteers are welcome to join our team providing a number of services that support library activity.    We have special volunteer programs for teens.  Click on Teen Volunteer Positions.  We also take donations of materials, including books.  But not just any books.
